How do I run Program Protector on older Windows?

Program Protector version 4.9 and later will run on following systems:

Running Program Protector on outdated Windows 7

If your Windows 7 does not have the latest updates installed, then you must first install the following updates:

  1. Windows 7 Service Pack 1
  2. Security update KB3033929 for Windows 7

After above updates are installed, you can install the latest version of Program Protector.

If you can not update your Windows

If you can not install Windows 7 updates listed above or want to run Program Protector on even older versions of Windows, you may try using Program Protector version 4.8. We do not recommend using outdated software, but this solution may work for you if you have no other choice.
